At the conference of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, there was a collaborative effort around Science, Play and Spirituality   This is a hopeful sign: the recognition that free play – the ability to explore the environment without restriction and with the senses. The way the participants expressed their responses had to do with joy and peace, deeply connected to our ability to come inward and attend to what is “highest,” however we may understand that. Cause for hope!
